Homestead Underground are Robert Polson and Keith Hess. Between the two of them they have been performing and writing music for most of their adult lives. Neither one was born in Texas (sadly), but got here as fast as possible. They have a love for playing cover music, but have a deep interest in composing original songs, and have many to offer. Influences are too vast to name them all, but include John Mayer, Eric Clapton, and of course Stevie Ray Vaughan. Homestead Underground covers and writes country, blues with a twist of jazz, all of this mixed together is better known as “Tex-Rock.”
